Items to Collect for Web Site Design
Below is a list of items to collect for your new Web site. (Some will not apply, or may need to be created.) Please send in digital format, if at all possible.
- If I am providing your hosting, the User ID and password of your account for your domain (registrar; i.e., Network Solutions, Register.com, GoDaddy.com, etc.).
- Any business plan you might have that would help me to get to know your business and its goals better.
- Logo in digital form (if you don't have this, I can create a graphic banner).
- Marketing brochures, flyers, pamphlets, folders, handouts.
- Services/Products you offer, and their descriptions/product catalog.
- Photos of your products or you doing a service. (Ask me about my photography services.)
- Newsletters, e-zines, or other regular publication to clients.
- Books you've written.
- Press kit, press releases, press clippings, articles about you or that you were quoted in.
- Radio spots, advertising tear sheets.
- Business card, letterhead.
- Company name, history, and geographical information.
- Your bio and photo. Employee bios, photos, and contact info.
- Client list.
- Sales presentations.
- Customer testimonials.
- Customer questionnaires.
- Any forms you use with customers (or suppliers, or business partners) that you'd like to put on the web.
- The top ten questions (and answers) you get in your business.
- If we will be collecting customer information on the Web, a privacy statement/policy.
- ECommerce: return policy, shipping policy/rates, sales tax rates, product prices.
